Pastor/Teacher

Pastor Harold Rollinson has been Senior Pastor of Southside Church of Christ of since 1991. He is also employed by the City of Jacksonville. He has been Fair Housing Coordinator and Mayor's Aide since December, 1995. He formerly served as Minister from 1979 to 1990 with: Brazor Street Church of Christ in Coleman, TX; Northside Church of Christ in Jacksonville; Kingsland Church of Christ in Jacksonville; and Sweetwater Church of Christ in Jacksonville.

Pastor Rollinson was Case Manager for River Region Human Services, Inc. in Jacksonville from March 1984 to July 1985; Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Project Director and Acting Dean of Student Affairs at Edward Waters College in Jacksonville from July 1985 to January 1990; Instructor Trainer with the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA from 1989 to the present; and Owner/CO of H&R Research and Marketing Corporation in Jacksonville from 1988 to December 1995.

Pastor Rollinson received his Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology/Bible from Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, TX in 1980, and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pastor Counseling/Ministry from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX in 1982. He also began work on his Master of Arts in Pastor Counseling at the same University.

Pastor Rollinson has received several certificates as follows: 1982 -Reality Therapist; 1985 -Group Facilitator/Trainer; 1988 -National Learning Committee for Drug Prevention Office of Substance Abuse (OSAP); 1989 –Drug Abuse Prevention/Morehouse School of Medicine; and 1989 -Instructor/Trainer HIV Antibody Counseling, test and partner notification/Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA.

Pastor Rollinson resides with his wife, Marsha and children in Jacksonville.

Deacon/Minister

Charles L. Fields, and his wife Yolonda Y. Fields came to The   Worship Place in March 1997. Charles is a Chief Petty Officer with the U. S. Navy and Yolonda works for Bank of America. They have two daughters, Jasmine and Brittany both active born-again members of Southside Church. Charles and Yolanda serve our evangelism and youth departments.   Former members of Titus Harvest Center, and DeWert Christian Fellowship they have come to The Worship Place with great zeal and a fervent desire to see God  move in the
lives of young people especially and were ordained to the office of deacon/deaconess in February 2002. 

Their prayer is that people might find the strength they've discovered in "the desire to continue to build a relationship with God, while living within a world that is constantly telling us that he does not exist."

Worship/Minister

Deweyne J Robinson was born in Eustis, FL and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1980 where he received the Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the Northside Church of Christ.  In 1991 he meet and married the former Marquita Mims and to their union was born two daughters, Dequita and Marde', and a son Deweyne, Jr. 

Deweyne came to The Worship Place in 1999 and is employed by River Region Human Services (a mental health and substance abuse treatment agency).  He currently serves the Music, Media & Praise Departments and enjoys traveling and "time spent in the manifest presence of GOD.
